Barely a week after South Africa celebrated Pearl Thusi for her role in American award winning soapie, Quantico, we woke up to the davastating news that Pearl has been fired from the popular American TV show.
Though details are still sketchy as to why Pearl was fired, some cast members have said the South African beau was fired because of her lunch menu orders. It is believed Pearl could request for Pap and Skop, something which can be found at any street kitchen corner in South Africa but proved difficult to get in America. The cast member said , “One afternoon she wanted something called kota, we were flabbergasted”, he said.
The directors are said to have held an emergency meeting and decided to part ways with Pearl, who was acting as a Zimbabwean lawyer.
Efforts to get comment from her did not yield any results as the star is reported to be too distraught to talk to media. A confident at the American Home Affairs said Pearl would be expected to move out of America now that she is unemployed failure of which will result in her deportation.
