A student at a local Durban school will probably not go to school again after a chicken leg wrapped in some muthi fell from her panties while she was dancing. The drama occurred at Clerwood High School, South of Durban.
The student, Zodwa Mthembu, who is one of the most popular girls at the school, was dancing with her two friends, identified as Grace and Sphiwe, The trio were dancing in front of the other school kids who were cheering. However, as the choreographed dance routine reached a summit and, the trio meant to do the popular vosho dance sequence when an object fell from Zodwa’s undergarments.
The embarrassed matric student tried to pick it up before anyone noticed it but it was too late as the students had seen it. On coser inspection, it was discovered the item was a chicken foot with some muthi sprinkled on it.
After questioning from other student, Zodwa confessed the muthi was given to her by her grandmother to help her pass her matric exams. “It’s nothing bad, It won’t hurt anyone. My grandmother gave it to me to help with my exams”.
