After months of carrying her unborn child, rocking the fashion streets with her pregnant belly, and a baby shower; Nandi Madida has given birth to a baby boy. The couple has also reportedly named their baby Gwara Gwara Madida.
Congratulations are in order for the Madidas as they welcomed their boy on Tuesday 22 November. The news of Nandi, who is currently the cover star for Destiny magazine were shared by Destiny Connect on their Instagram page.
Now that the baby has been born, we are looking forward to seeing the entire family dancing to daddy’s (Zakes) music.
According to Destiny Magazine the star always wanted to have a baby in her late 20s:
“People who know me, know that I always wanted to have my kid in my late 20s and that was from a health perspective, because you are generally physically more capable of carrying a baby in your 20s – of course you can carry a child in your 30s. It’s so funny how everything has turned out,” she said.
Her baby shower went down this past weekend and it seemed like a joyous occasion. It was great timing too since the baby was so close to arriving.
Congratulations to her and husband, Zakes Bantwini!
The name choice came a a surprise to all of us. Gwara Gwara is a dance/song popularised by Dj Bongz.
